Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

WOOF!!! Happy Friday!! This week's visit is a special one for Lab Rescue!  "Lab Lady" shared with me that "Lady Bear," one of today's Friends, is the 100th Labrador Retriever rescued by Lab Rescue in 2016!!

While it's sad to know that in a short time, there have been at least 100 dogs needing to find new homes and humans to love- on the other paw, it's 100 dogs saved from the other issues!  WOOF!!  I'm grateful they are there for us dogs!

"Lab Lady" brought by two pawfectly pawsome ladies for you to meet, Wanda and Lady Bear!  Wanda is a 47 lbs., 3 year-old Black Labrador Retriever and Lady Bear is a 47 lbs., 1 year-old Black Labrador Retriever.

Wanda & Lady Bear are two special girls who are bonded pals who must be adopted together!

These two beautiful young ladies came from the country. Barkingly, they have had no exposure to the noise and crowds of the city, so they are looking for a home in a single family home, a suburban neighborhood or in the country.

Wanda is the laid back one and Lady Bear still has the puppy energy!  BARK!! WOOF!!!

These sweet girls are outgoing and love to play and be petted by their humans.

Tag team playing?  Its what it sounds like to me- if you through a ball, Wanda gets it, drops it so Lady Bear can get it, pick it up and bring it back!  WOOF!! Barkingly pawsome!

The ladies are crate trained and possibly house trained as they did pawingly well keeping their room cleaned at the kennel.

Wanda and Lady Bear know the "sit" and "come" commands but need further training.  Neither lady has had much experience walking on a leash! They will come with a training addendum.

Wanda and Lady Bear are looking for a home with a backyard so they can run and play and explore with their new humans!

Take a look at these two on YouTube at: Wanda and Lady Bear!

Wanda and Lady Bear have no child so they are approved for ages 10  years and older.  They are good with other dogs and have no cat history!

Wanda and Lady Bear are Heartworm and Ehrlichia positive.  Barkingly, they are currently being treated. Lab Rescue will pay for Heartworm treatment if done at one of their vets.

If you would like to meet Wanda and Lady Bear, please visit Lab Rescue!
