My human got the pawsome oppawtunity to photograph two Great Danes, Nike and Rex, for the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League a few weeks ago and had a pawtastic time! WOOF!!!

Now, these two guys who will need to be adopted together, they are bonded brothers, are ready to find a "Forever Home" and humans to love!

You've got to meet these two. Dad sat down on his photo cart he uses to prepare to photograph and got loved on by these two -to his surprise and he'd just met these a few minutes prior.

Meet Rex-! He is a 145lb, 2 ½ year old male with natural ears.

After a bit of time working with the pawsome volunteers at the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, he is ready to find a "Forever Home" along with his brother.

Rex is a big goof ball, full of the Great Dane personality, sweet, loving, bouncy, happy and playful guy! He will give you doggie kisses all day if you let him!

He is learning leash manners which are coming along well. He is pawfect in the car- he climbs in, sits down, and enjoys the ride and being with his human. BARK!!

Rex has learned a few tricks to talk to his human- he will give a large bark when he goes outside! He waits to see if his brother wants to go. If not, then he takes care of his “personal business” and gets the zoomies out, comes to the door and waits to be let back in. If he DOES get a response then a conversation will begin but literally calling his name once stops the barking. LITERALLY! WOOF, er, arf.

Rex has met several other dogs and cats and has always greeted them with a wagging tail!

He has mastered "sit" and "down" commands and has a high willingness to please!

Rex will need to remain on a high quality dog food diet to keep his immune system in synch and a daily dose of fish oil never hurt anyone! RUFF! RUFF!!

Rex and his brother Nike love baths, to be brushed, petted and snacking on ice cubes! WOOF!!! Pawsingly, both are house and crate trained!

Oh, and by the way, if you don't like a Great Dane in your shower, Rex and Nike might not be the dogs for you- WOOF!

Barkingly, meet his brother Nike- what a face, huh! Like his brother-

Nike, a 2 1/2 year old, 150 lbs., Blue Great Dane with natural ears keeps an eye out for his brother Rex- it is pawsingly cool how these two guys get along- as Nike gets a little anxious when Rex is away, these two buddies are to be adopted together.

Nike is very pawleased to be looking for a "Forever Home!"

Nike has been working hard on his leash skills with a Gentle Leader and is becoming pawsingly confident!

Doggies kisses and lovin's is what Nike loves to share with his human.  Given the pawportunity, he will lick you silly with tons and tons and tons of kisses.

Nike has still NOT chewed on anything but his Kongs and bones.  No shoes, nothing that wasn't made for him to chew!

A barkingly smart boy, with lots of love to give and extremely obedient dog, Nike is pawsome to be around.

Nike has mastered the "sit" command but is still working on "down" and "stay" and "shake". Being a quick learner and food motivated barkingly helps with his training!

Nike isn't vocal at all. Not much of a barker, he makes funny noises when he yawns but that's about it.
