"WOOF! WOOF! BARKS!" "MEOWS! Purrs!" "Happy 250th Birthday! If Beethoven were still alive, we have a huge birthday party for one of classical music's greatest composers, Ludwig van Beethoven!"

"HISS! Noah, why do we celebrate a birthday for someone who died at age 56 in 1827?"

"Barks, you hear the music Dad plays around the house all the time? He plays Beethoven quite often as he's one of his favorite composers! Beethoven was one of those guys who liked to change the rules, go against the norm to explore music in his way. He studied with Franz Joseph Haydn who was instrumental in teaching him about composing and all its intricacies to completing a pawsome piece of music.

When Beethoven decided to "create his own way" he changed music forever! WOOF! Which, if you like music other than classical, you should be pawsomely thankful for his endeavors!"

"Meows! Oh! Why doesn't Dad listen to anything else besides classical music?"

"WOOF! He does. Just not as often. Something about classical music that he really loves!"

"Meows! Maybe I should change the stations on his stereo system and make play him more of the other music!"

"Barks! I'm up for that- maybe some Journey or Foreigner?!"

"Meows- we'll let him celebrate Beethoven's birthday with a day of his music but after that! We are taking over the stereo!"
