It's is Christmas eve and all throughout the land, the humans were preparing to go to Christmas Eve service while the critters were quietly waiting to scurry about and do their Christmas tasks at hand. They wait for the all-clear.

As the humans leave for their Christmas Eve Service, the critters, puppies, kittens, cats, dogs, deer, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, rabbits, birds, and so many other wildlife gather in the streets of the neighborhood. They begin dancing to the music filling the air while decorating the bushes, shrubs, and trees, and more. They pawty, laugh, chuckle, and celebrate together as they chat about their year with the humans and another one with each other, their critter friends- all of which are needed to fill an impawtant role in the lives of their humans and the realms of the universe. As the evening goes, faster than they ever want, they finish their evening giving Christmas gifts to their friends and wrapping others for their humans.

The evening grows late and dark with light from the skies lighting their way. All of a sudden the evening grows very quiet not a sound is heard as they walk slowly towards their homes. It's almost eerie as the usual hustle and bustle noises of the city are gone and the lights too.

As the critters walk, the skies begin to illuminate. Before long, a star in the east began to get brighter and brighter. The star began shining a light toward the ground seems to be an area close to the critter's home. They watched as it seemed to get brighter and brighter as the seconds ticked away. The crew of critters decided to walk toward the light to see what it was.

They walk quietly and slowly through the woods over the creek and down to the street exploring as they went. A crowd of humans had formed where the light was shining the brightest. Scared, they scatter and hid shaking as they look around.

Almost in an instant, the critters settled down, they were no longer scared or shaking. The light seemed to grow wider on the ground so as to include them in the circle around the humans. A wave of peace and contentment filled the hearts of the critters as they scrambled around the legs of the humans to see what it was the light was shining so bright upon. They are in awe at what they find.

and the government shall be upon his shoulder,

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
