WOOF!!  My friend at Operation Paws for Homes introduced me to a new friend yesterday for you to meet and it slipped my mind- WOOF! Barkingly not good, I am getting like my human- sorry- ended up having a busy morning yesterday.  So, I decided to publish a special edition.

Meet Rockie!!!! Barkingly pawsome, this guy is a Plott Hound- one of the bestest, the greatest, the most perfect, the most fantastic- grandest dog you could adopt!  Oh, er, uh, yes, did I ever mention that I am part Plott Hound?  So, I know from experience........

Rockie is looking for his "Forever Home!" Around 2-3 years old, he weighs about 52 lbs. but could use a bit more poundage- and, he happily working on it with good food from his foster human.

He loves to play in the backyard (just like I do- WOOF!) and likes to sniff the cat- trying to figure him out- but he's been around dogs so he's pretty low key.  Also, Rockie hangs out with two tiny, like miniature, humans that are loud and sometimes scare him a bit- but when we they walk up quietly and slowly, Rockie loves to smell and lick their hands! And, he loves it when they pet him!

Rockie loves to be around his humans and is learning to trust them. He gets comfortable with them more each day!

His foster human says he's do well with crate training and is pretty housebroken which she told me with a smile!! WOOF!!

Just so you know, Rockie is lyme positive, but is taking medicine now and should get a clean bill of health in about a month. He is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and neutered.
