Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

WOOF!!!  Barkingly pawsome part of writing and introducing you to my pawtastic dog and cat friends, is meeting the many volunteers who work in the rescues to keep things going-  this week, I heard from my friend "Miss Joanne" at Operation Paws for Homes.  She introduced me to Solana- and I would like you to meet her-

A sweet, well mannered, loving, pretty, a heart-throb, er sorry, you'd never guess this girl was in a shelter... as she is so bright and cheery girl!  Her name, Solana,  - which means sunshine in Spanish!!

At about 5 years old and 25 lbs., Solana is always excited to meet new humans and will greet you at the door ready to play and even tries to take a toy on her long walks- gotta be prepared you know- WOOF!!!!! She is quick, agile, and fun-loving, and, likes to play with her leash on the way!

Solana gets so excited to meet you that it's hard for her to contain herself so she likes to jump up to greet everyone!  Humans with little humans will need to monitor this!  Her foster human is diligently working on this with her.

Solana gets along well with other dogs, but sometimes needs a few days to relax! She barks some, so an apartment or condo setting may not be the best fit.

Solana is working hard on being good in her crate and going to do her business! WOOF!!! PAWS TO YOU GIRL!!

Solana is being fostered in Fairfax, VA. She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on her vaccines.

If you would like more information about Solana and dog adoption, please visit Operation Paws for Homes.  Tell them Noah sent you!  WOOF!!
