HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!
My human looks so forward to the "First Day of Summer" - it's funny. He will probably have a "Summer Solstice" party on the back deck or the front porch staying outside until all light from the sun has diminished in the West. He will have his book, a bottle of Snapple Green Tea and these things which will keep some bugs away. Barkingly, I will be right there with him enjoying the time. Big party guy, huh?!
With the warm weather here to stay for a few months, we will travel and go and go some more until we gone as much as we can go or the first snowstorm hits in the winter! WOOF!! Dad doesn't travel far in the winter months or at least he will pay close attention to the weather forecast.
As we travel this summer, Dad will make preparations to take me wherever he goes wherever he can, and however he can. He loves having me travel with him and says it's so much easier, even though a bit more work, than leaving me at home. He prepares for the heat which can be dangerous for me and he uses BringFido to make any hotel reservations we need. This way, he knows the hotel will accept large dogs like me!
I know we are planning to go railfanning, sea turtle watching, to the beach, to the mountains and a few other places that get our attention along the way.
Whatever you do this summer, have a blast, make the pawsome memories with family which will last forever! Be careful! Be safe!
