Paws to Chandler, from Lab Rescue of the L.R.C.P., Inc., a 19 month old black neutered male, who is up to date on his shots and is heartworm negative.

He is good with other dogs and cats and is approved for kids aged 10 and up. He weighs 49 lbs. Chandler is very affectionate, he loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. He is a sweetheart who will wash your face with doggie kisses!  He enjoys playing fetch and he will drop the ball at your feet or sometimes in your hand.

Chandler enjoys going for car rides and takes treats gently. He loves to go for a swim.  He needs some work on his basic commands - sit, stay, and lay down and walks well on a leash with a harness. Chandler would enjoy a quieter home as he can get overwhelmed with a lot of people, especially new ones.

Chandler was hit by a car in January 2012 and his right rear leg was amputated. His left rear leg and front left shoulder were also injured and his pelvic bone was broken in three places. Though he does steps easily, he may slip on uncarpeted surfaces. He has fully recovered, and is an active and happy dog.
