Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

WOOF!!! - It's great to catch up with my friend "Lab Lady" again this week.  She has brought me an interesting character for you to meet.  He's an 86 lb. Chocolate Labrador Retriever, 7 years old, and is looking for a "Forever Home" after his owner gave him to Lab Rescue due to lack of time and declining health.  Too bad, as Jackson is a really cool guy and deserving of a cool human to enjoy life with.

Paws Meet Jackson-

"Aren't I Cute?" - Jackson

Since Jackson has been used for breeding all his life, ao he isn't suitable for apartment/townhouse or city living. No exceptions.

Jackson wants a "Forever Home" in a quiet area where he can run, chase and retrieve toys and tennis balls, see him playing on youtube here: Jackson Retrieving a Tennis Ball.  Barkingly, he enjoys walking and does well on a leash.

He has met a cat or two and does alright with them. And, he's good with Alpacas too. arf? Alpacs?  WOOF-  See Jackson with his alpaca friend on youtube here: Jackson and Alpaca!

Jackson has no history of living with children so approved for kids 10 and up.

He's crate trained, but really doesn't need it and can be left alone in the house for a few hours! WOOF!!
"I am SO ADORABLE!"

Jackson is a cool, loving character. He follows his foster mom wherever she goes and patiently waits for her return when she goes out.

He has never had obedience classes but responds well to knows basic commands like "sit" and comes when you call his name. He would love a family that would have patience to work with him and treat him to the luxurious life he deserves!  WOOF!!!!!

He is neutered and is current on vaccines.
