Spring 2 Action: Operation Paws for Homes

The volunteers at Operation Paws for Homes help dogs find their "Forever Homes," like this one-

"Jersey Girl!"

"A little over two years ago our search began in an effort to expand our family.  Our oldest was graduating from high school and our youngest entering middle school.

It was on the Operation Paws for Homes website that a little ball of dark fur captured our attention.

We knew at the first visit it was love at first sight.  Her cute little tail, fluffy fur, and firecracker spirit had us hooked.  She would soon be our “Jersey Girl” and steal our hearts forever.

True to her Chow breed, Jersey loves the outdoors, runs the yard, stands watch, and eagerly greets us upon returning home.

She still, 2 years later, is a ball of fluff.  She loves her human brothers and welcomes attention and petting from the neighbors.  She especially enjoys her playtime with her canine friends.

If it weren't for Operation Paws for Homes Rescue, the wonderful and caring foster families, and the selfless volunteers, we wouldn't have our “Jersey Girl.”

Thank you Operation Paws for Homes for the opportunity of becoming a doggy family and for bringing such joy into our lives."
