Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

WOOF!! Barkingly pawsome week! Hope you had a pawsome one too!!  My friends from Operation Paws for Homes have brought a young lady for you to meet- she is looking for her "Forever Home!"

Meet George Foreman aka Georgie Girl, is a 5 Month old, 25lb female Boxer mix puppy!
"George Foreman, aka Georgie Girl"
(C) Operation Paws for Homes
All girl with a great boxer personality, George Forman is gentle and people oriented, while enjoying her siblings to play and cuddle with too.

Georgie is learning basic commands quickly, like "sit" and "lay down."  She is totally crate trained, quiet, and likes to give off a bark if there is someone coming by that she doesn't know. She is patient when feeding her.

Gorgeous, soulful eyes, will grab your attention as she sits attentively waiting to be petted with her tail wagging like crazy! Georgie loves to cuddle, held and hugged. She will put her cheek against yours and just stay perfectly still for the longest time hoping you will never move and never let her go.

She loves the outdoors, all people and dogs. She is gentle and would be great with kids of any age.
Due to her small size and young age, Operation Paws for Homes recommends that Georgie goes to a home with children that are respectful of her size and age. Since she is a baby, she will require an adopter who are not out of the home for more than 4 hours at one time to continue his training! She is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines.

Please note: Since Georgie is so young, she’s has only received 2 sets of the required 3 sets puppy vaccinations. This is very IMPORTANT because it means that his immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age. She MUST stay out of public places where she could be exposed to the germs of many other dogs for another six weeks after he goes home. These no puppy zones include all pet stores, dog parks, and for apartment dwellers, areas used by other dogs, These requirements are strictly for the puppy’s medical safety and longevity.

Interested in meeting Georgie, please complete this application.
