Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

"LAB LADY!!!!!!!!"  WOOF!!!!  WOOF!!!!!!!!!  WOOF!!!!! and she's brought two friends with her this week- one human, who is a foster parent, and one sweet, gorgeous, beautiful, hot-looking, er, I know, Ok, focus, uh, ah, oh- Black Labrador Retriever named "Mariner!"

Mariner is a 65 lbs., 8 year old female who most pawsitively NOT suitable for an apartment or townhouse setting.  This shy girl needs a quiet neighborhood, a calm living environment and the humans property must be fenced!!!  Lab Rescue has said, "NO EXCEPTIONS!"

A quiet character, Mariner may take awhile to get used to her new family and home.  She has learned through her foster mom, to get past shyness and fear of new things or surroundings or pawtever!  Pawingly, she is adapting and quite well- and has surprised her foster mom with her success.  She has a brave spirit which says, "love over fear," which is a fabulous trait!

One special request, is she would love to have a home with mostly carpet.  Though she's mastered the stairs, some floorings are not quite her style yet.

Mariner isn't much on going for walks- yet.  Though she does alright with a Harness, she is hesitant to go.   The world is a scary place so she's been a bit hesitant to go anywhere on a leash.  She does love a backyard to putter around in- yes, putter.  She knows how to retrieve RETRIEVERS though- which is a pawsome talent- when a ball or toy is thrown for the resident Retrievers, she will go with them, and bring back the Retrievers!  WOOF!!!! BARK!!

Mariner's house manners are pawfect. No accidents in the house. She doesn't bark.  She doesn't countersurf.  She's quiet.  She doesn't get on the furniture.  SHE'S PAWFECT!!! WOOF!! WOOF!!!!

Barkingly, this character is pawnderful!  If you don't want an easy to care for Lab, easy going and loving Lab, a Lab who just wags because you wave at her or because you're in the room, a Lab whose happy, easy going, loving though slightly timid, then she's not for you and there are others you can adopt, but if this sold like the lifestyle of a dog you'd want, maybe Mariner is your girl!

She has no experience with children so is approved for ages 10 and older. Nor does she have any experience with cats!

Mariner is current on her vaccines and ready to go home with a loving human to her new "Forever Home."

Interested in meeting this sweetheart?  Please contact Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc. for details- tell them Noah barked about her!  BARK!!!
