Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Operations Paws for Homes

WOOF!!  Happy FRIDAY!!!! Hope you have a pawsome weekend!  My human has been traveling with mom the past few weeks so I've been staying with my Uncle Ed - he a character- I paw him and his wife!  WOOF!!!!!

My friend, Miss J, from Operation Paws For Homes has been doing such an excellent job introducing me to dogs who need "Forever Homes."   She is barkingly pawsome to work with!  This week, Miss J., has brought me a 2 year old, Black White and Tan Treeing Walker Coonhound. arf?

Meet Cosmos!

Cosmos was found as a stray with injuries that left several scars. He lost vision in one eye, but  barkingly not his spirit!

A character of a dog, he is comfortable with his foster human so he shows off his goofy and playful spirit.  His favorite toy is his antler! He plays well with his foster human's dog and wants to play with the cats MUCH more than they want to play with him- but he is easily redirected. Operation Paws for Homes doesn't know what caused Cosmos's injuries, but it's pawsible that it was humans.  Barkingly, he is slow to trust and will sing you his pawforite "houind song" to let you know he's not sure about you yet.  His "Forever Family" will need to be patient while he learns to trust again.  Consistent training and reinforcement will go a long way with his recovery.
