WOOF!!  BARK!! WOOF! Happy Friday - This weekend would be the pawfect weekend to consider adopting the pawfect dog for you and your family to add that extra bit of fun to your life- that all humans need in my opinion!

Pawingly, I think Black Labrador Retrievers are the most pawsome, pawfect, excellent dog you can adopt- obvious, there are others in the great dog world, but for some reason, I love these guys- it feels like family, you know!

"Lab Lady" visited this week with a grandest pups that would benefit living with an active human or a human with a family!   Meet Rookie!

Rookie is a friendly, Black Labrador Retriever, 7 months old, who is full of energy, youngness, and loves to run!  He has a blast playing in the backyard at his foster's home with the other foster dogs, a tennis ball and a frisbee!

Rookie really isn't too pawsitive about the toys his foster mom throws, they're not actually running, but the other dogs- they are running and much more fun to chase- and burn off that pent up energy from being stuck in a shelter.  He will need a home that can provide a way to burn off his energy as well as training.

He seems to be house trained and sleeps quietly in his crate.  

For now, he tends to pull on the leash- a bit hard- but an easy walk harness and some training will assist with that!  WOOF!!!!!

Rookie is good with other dogs.  While in the shelter, he was cat tested, and he approached the curiously but retreated after being bopped!! arf!

Rookie has no experience with children, so he's approved for ages 10 and up.

Up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to meet his human and his "Forever Home!".
