Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

Happy Friday! WOOF!!! MY friend "Miss J" has been busy chasing dogs, caring for dogs and working really hard this week with dogs trying to find them "Forever Homes!" She and the volunteers at Operation Paws for Homes do an excellent job together caring for all these dogs.

"Miss J" has brought me a really cool dog for you to meet this week- Maxx!

Maxx has come quite a long way to find his 'Forever Home!'  He is from a town called Cairo, Egypt!  He had a rough start in life, where he lived on the streets with his brother Foxxy since they were just pups, but now he is finding a new beginning, here in the United States. He's looking for a human to love and share life with!

Though not 100% sure, his foster mom and dad think he is a Basenji type breed. He weighs 30 lbs. is very loving and playful and gets along with other dogs and cats.  arf?!

Since he is learning quite a few new things, and will need lots of love and understanding from his new humans, it's best he goes home with children older than 8 years old.   WOOF!

Growing up in the streets, Maxx has picked up some bad habits. I don't like to share my food well and I get cranky if I think another dog wants my food.

Maxx is a very smart guy and with some love and compassion, would make a good dog for the right person. Maxx is really bonded with his Brother Foxxy so if you have room for both of us please take us together. He loves his brother!!
