Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

It's a Labrador Party and you are invited!  WOOF!!!! "Lab Lady" from Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc. had way too much fun bringing a few Labradors by for me to meet this week!  WOOF!!!!  BARK!!

Pawsome!  A mother and daughter are visiting this week looking for their "Forever Home!"  They are a bonded pair who depend on each other and love their time with each other so they will need to be adopted together!  WOOF!!
"Hope"

"Faith"
(C) Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.
These two lovely ladies come from the country - suburbs! They have no exposure to big cities with its crowds and noise so they are looking for a "Forever Home" in a single family house in the suburbs, a country setting or in a rural area!

The girls, Hope and Faith, come to Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc., from a human who kept them in a 10 X 10 pen, 24/7 and fed them from a pig trough.

A bit timid, especially Faith who is very dependent on her mom and whines when she is out of sight, the two are startled easily by noise and chaos so the two may take a bit to adjust.  Hope can be protective of her daughter around new dogs but does settle down.

Faith and Hope are very kissy, lovey and want to be a lap dogs and share all her lovin's with a human. They enjoy going for a ride!

Faith is a 2 year old Fox Red Labrador mix while Hope is a 4 year old chocolate spayed female. She weighs 65 lbs.

Faith and Hope have no cat or children history.  They are approved to go home with children ages 10 and older.

She is a good rider. She is good with other dogs. No cat or kid history so kids 10 and up.

Faith and Hope are up to date on their vaccinations.

I would like you to meet Koda!  He came to Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc. when his family lost their home and determined they could not keep him.  He is a 10 year-old, 83 lbs., Yellow Labrador Retriever.

Barkingly, Koda comes from the county too.  He had no exposure to big cities or crowds so he is looking for "Forever Home" in a single family house in the suburbs, a country setting or in a rural area!

If you are looking for a good buddy to go on walks with you, keep you company, watch TV with you, go for rides with you, since I am not available, my friend Koda might be the other perfect dog for you!  WOOF!!!

Koda enjoys the backyard too- he likes to make sure all the critters are keeping their distance from his property!!  WOOF!  And, if there's a huge puddle around, don't be surprised if you find him enjoying it.   Not sure if he swims, but a good puddle does the trick!!

He knows commands "Sit, Lay Down, Shake, Speak, Catch!"  He is good on a walk with a lead, is house and crate trained.  He really doesn't need a crate but owner says he does like shoes every once in a while.

Koda is good with other dogs, children ages 8 and older but has no cat history.

Watch this video about Koda to see what a cool guy he is!

Koda is up to date on his vaccinations!

Now, my dear friend Marley, has been patiently waiting for her chance to meet you!

"Marley"
(C) Lab Rescue Of L.R.C.P., Inc.
Marley is an 18-month old Yellow Labrador Retriever who needs a family who will not leave her for a long workday.  Barkingly, she will need a single-family home with a solid fenced-in yard, not chainlink, and at least 6 feet tall.  No townhouses or busy neighborhoods.

Marley loves to play with toys, her favorite is the lambchop!  When she went on a roadtrip for Christmas, she was thrilled to find a lambchop at foster Grandma's house too! So you gotta find a few lambchops for her!

Marley enjoys going for a  ride in the car, she curls up into a ball (in the front seat if you'll let her) for a snooze!

If you have children, she enjoys their company and doesn't seem to be too concerned about the hustle and bustle they can bring.

Marley is a very smart girl who can open doors so care needs to be exercised about door control especially into un-fenced areas!

Marley really is a wonderful, easy going and sweet girl!  WOOF!!!   She knows how to go along with the flow of the household, loves to play and romp and run and chase, and then settles in for a nap on the nearest couch.

Marley loves the water, except for baths, and will splash in kiddie pools, the ocean, or ponds left by rainwater!

Marley will make a great dog for any active family.  She is approved for children ages 8 and older.  She has no cat history.

Marley is up to date on all vaccinations!
