Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

WOOF!! HAPPY FRIDAY!!!  Hope you have survived your first work week after a great time of holidays celebrations.  My human used to call this the worst week of the year because it was the first full work week in several weeks.  WOOF!!  Barkingly, coming home after those long work days to loving paws would really cheer you up and it you could come home at lunch, pawtastic!

My friend, "Miss J" came by earlier this week with her friend, "Kylie" that I'd like you to meet.  She is a 3-year-old, 45 lb., Foxhound mix and true to her breed- meaning loving, eager to please, sensitive, and high energy!!  She just loves to be active but she will stop for a second or two even and give you a big doggie kiss- which are worth many smiles!  Bark!!

This is Kylie-

Kylie is looking forward to her next playdate with another dog or her new human and at her "Forever Home." Some good ol' cuddlin' time is on the paw list too!

A very smart young girl, she has potty training and crate training down pat!  Bark! She loves learning new tricks as it works her mind and keeps her focused. Not barkingly perfect yet, as I still need help with learning recall and leash skills.

Being a hound, like most of us hounds, sometimes when she smells or sees a critter she forgets her yard boundaries or pulls on the leash- she does need your help with this but in a consistent, gentle training manner, not a dominating style- won't work for her. With that, she can be the pawfect companion!  WOOF!!!!

Kylie is looking for an active family since she has an abundance of energy, not someone who only has a bit of time to spend with her, she is looking for a human who is constantly ready to play.  Having a best dog buddy that likes to wrestle and play will be a benefit!

Kylie is an incredible jumper.  She could probably be taught to be a "Frisbee Dog," a "Dock Dog" diver or even participate in "agility!"  She has a fantastic nose and would make a great hunting dog as long as she can live in the house and get to snuggle with her human.

Pawsingly, she's a stunning, smart, energetic girl in search of someone with similar traits on two legs.  WOOF!!!
