Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Homeless Animals Rescue Team (HART)

Happy Friday!

I've got a special friend for you to meet this week from the Homeless Animals Rescue Team (HART).  She is a foster parent of Domino and she wants to share with you why you should adopt her-

"A bumper sticker commonly used by those who have adopted rescue dogs asks the question, "Who rescued whom?" The question implies that the adopting a rescue dog will change your life beyond the act of saving a life. The feeling of pure love and devotion is often difficult to find in our busy lives. If you are looking to be rescued, then nothing’s better than a nice walk around the park followed by belly scratches on the couch and a yummy treat of carrots and strawberries according to sweet Domino, a wonderful HART dog, who is looking for her forever home. Domino’s fantastic disposition shines as she walks down the street with a smile on her face. Domino is a mature dog, crate trained and house broken, and she has a wonderfully talkative personality. Earlier in her life, she lived with another dog and she prefers calmer friends. When she’s not snuggling with her foster family or keeping watch to see if someone is walking by her house, Domino enjoys venturing outside for a trip to the park or taking a stroll to sniff the various blooming flora. She's a tremendous stress reliever who encourages her foster family to unwind by petting her with as many hands as possible. Her hilarious stretching routine that includes doing the Army Crawl across the floor and flipping over onto her back to wriggle around the room will leave you laughing every time. Though she is a senior dog, don't overlook her incredibly soft coat of fur and the love she exudes for those who care for her. This beautiful pup is deserving of her forever home (older children only) where she can continue to be a loving, affectionate, and loyal companion."
