Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League

I love meeting these huge dogs which I look up to in more ways than one- not only are they pawsome, they are big dogs so I look to barkingly meet their incredible selves.  Meet Deuce from the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League.

A 6-year old Black Great Dane, Deuce has adjusted barkingly well to his foster humans!  He loves them and pawsitively loves making them laugh at his goofiness- the pawleasure of a dog is making humans happy!

Deuce's favorite routine is to take  a walk at his paws favorite spot, a local cemetery where there are few distractions and some beautiful views. These walk help keep his muscles tone and joints loose.

After Deuces takes his walks, he loves a comfortable seat on the couch with his blanket, pillow, and teddy bear!

A smart fella, he knows to go to the bathroom "on demand" or when asked by his human. He is crate trained too.   He knows his basic command and to respect the boundaries of a baby gate around the kitchen.  He knows to stay on his side of the bed at night too!  BARKS!!! PAWSOME fella!

Deuce enjoys baths but does not like getting his nails clipped.

Barkingly, he enjoys his bear, but doesn't care too much for chew dogs. Whenever he is happy, sad or nervous, the bear is a form of comfort for him.

Deuce enjoys going for rides in the car.

Though Deuce attends a daycare ince in while and he loves other animals, he prefers to be your one and only- dog that is! Barks! He is uneasy around cats.  He is looking for a quiet home to enjoy.

The noise from appliances or the vacuum cleaner are annoying to him but he is paws in making getting used to them.

Deuce does not warm up easily to people coming to the house or a walk in public.  With consistent training, he will be less aggressive and better toward humans.  WOOFs!

The human who adopts this pawsome guy needs to establish a strict routine with lots of positive attention which will create the most loving companion and pawsome dog he was meant to be.  WOOFs!

Barkingly, if you are interested in meeting Deuce, please visit the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League.  Pawlease tell them "Noah" barked!
