Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League

Though I pawsitively wish every single dog in the universe had a human to love and a "Forever Home," I do enjoy meeting these dogs when they come by to meet you!

My friend "Dane Dame" brought by a most huge and pawsome Great Dane named "Phantom," a barkingly cool 3-year-old large male Blue Merle with natural ears.

A sweet guy who can be energetic too.  At 140 lbs., he needs to lose about five pounds or so.  Some exercise will help with that.

Phantom enjoys going for walks and does well on an Easy-Walker harness.  If he sees squirrels, cats or foxes, he may attempt to chase so he'll benefit by having a strong owner with large breed experience!

Phantom knows basic commands, "sit," "down," "go to bed," "up" and is smart and food motivated!  Further training will be a snap.

Barkingly, Phantom does have somewhat of a prey drive so he is not recommended for homes with cats and other furry critters!  He does enjoy the company of other dogs, but he is somewhat selective!

Crate and house trained, Phantom is the traditional "Velcro" Dane- he loves his humans and all the attention he can get! He would like a home where his humans will be around quite a bit.

Phantom is a goofball who enjoys rolling around in the grass and playing with his squeaky toys!  He still has quite a bit of puppy in him so he'll need exercise and would like a "Forever Home" with a fenced backyard! Barkingly, he loves running out the "zoomies" in the grass!  WOOF!!!
