Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

I had a pawsome time catching up with my friend, "Miss J" at Operation Paws for Homes- haven't seen her in way too long.  She and I chatted about everything under the sun including dog treats that she loves!  And, her buddy, Elliot!

Elliot's foster mom says "He is a very special guy with a pawsome smile and a cool little head bow!"  Of paws, I noticed immediately how cool he is- a pawtastic male Pit Bull Terrier!

Elliot is kind of a couch potato but enjoys going on long hikes too, provided he gets his naps too!  His favorite thing is curling up next to his human and snuggling.

Crowds and noise make Elliot nervous so he's looking for a quiet home without a lot of traffic.  Barkingly, he loves “dog people” and love visitors but mini-humans make him nervous as they can be unpredictable and poke so he'd do better in a home without them.

Elliot likes some other dogs but is picky who he calls' "friend!" He thinks cats, chickens, and farm animals are really cool!  They get along just fine!

While Elliot may seem like he has a lot of special needs or special requests for his new humans and a "Forever Home," his foster mom says he's pawsitively worth it! He is one of her favorite dogs she's rescued in the last 6 1/2 years.  She would adopt him if he got along with his foster brother but he's a male dog much bigger than him. WOOFs!!! BARK!   He gets along with his foster sister, but she tries to take his toys which he finds annoying!  WOOFs!!

Elliot is looking forward to meeting his new human so he can be a potato on your couch right next to you!!  Got a remote control for the TV?  Paws!!
