Friday's Friend: Cat Adoption, Washington Humane Society

Wow!  What a long, cold, snowy, and icy week!  The first time in the years I've lived with my humans that we've missed two morning walks in a row!  But, its been too cold to be out for very long.  Cold weather means snuggling and snuggling with a "Forever Friend!"

My friends from the Washington Humane Society introduced me Ashley Young, an Adoption and Rescue Coordinator, who is introducing us to this weeks "Friend"- please meet Butch........

"Butch is serious about getting adopted. He says, 'This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no fooling around!' Butch is a lover, not a fighter, and wants to share his sense of wonder with an awesome person. You see, Butch came to us a little beat up...poor guy is on a six month quarantine because he was found by a WHS Field Officer with a bite of unknown origin. All this means is that he can't go to a home with other animals during this time, but he told us he would love another kitty friend once his quarantine is over."

Meet Butch at our Georgia Avenue Adoption Center! 7319 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington D.C., (202) 723-5730.
