Dog Hygiene
When it comes to your dog's hygiene at home, there are a few main things you have to consider. The first thing is that you have to set a rule and limit the access of your pet to certain areas, such as sofas, beds and kitchen. You can either self-train your dog or hire a professional to do it. In case you're okay with the idea of your dog having access to every part of your home, then allow it, it's up to you. But keep in mind that this is how dogs spread bacteria in you house which can have a negative effect on your health. Therefore it's preferable to keep areas you have a lot of contact with germ-free. You may put a blanket on a part of sofa and teach your dog to only use that certain area to lie.

Another important thing to take into account is keeping your dog clean. After walking it, never forget to wash its paws. Brush its teeth regularly and deworm it when necessary. Also, if your dog stains the carpet, make sure you clean it thoroughly, using appropriate detergents. It's a good idea to consider flooring that is easy to clean.

Cat Hygiene
When it comes to cat hygiene at home, things are less complicated. Cats don't get as dirty as dogs do for the fact they stay in. Cats are very clean animals and self-clean their fur, therefore they are the most preferred pets to have at home. However, an important thing you have to do is to take good care of your cat's litter. Make sure you change it regularly. It's preferable for pregnant women to keep away from cat litters, since cat faeces transmit a parasite which can lead to miscarriage.

Also, make sure you take your cat to the veterinarian to examine its health regularly.

Hygiene Of Pet Birds
To maintain good hygiene of your pet birds at home, keep a few things in mind. The first thing to take into account is keeping the cage clean. It's important to clean it properly and thus reduce bacteria at your pet's own space. Another important thing is to always wash your hands after touching your bird and be careful when sharing food. There are several diseases that can be transmitted from birds to people by close contact.

Hamster Hygiene
To take care of your hamster's hygiene, make sure you clean its cage and accessories regularly. Remove droppings and leftover food daily. Washing your hamster is not advisable, since this can cause death. In case your pet is very dirty, use a toothbrush with soft damp bristles and gently clean it.
