It is the night before Christmas
and all through the house,
the quiet has come to the human's
with cheer,
the fixin's to be done...
presents wrapped...
the food's been bought..
it is time for all to stop
stop and rest
stop. watch and listen.
If you listen
You will hear it
a hush that comes
across the land
as does the dark of night
or light of morning.
All the hustle
All the bustle
ends on this Eve of Christmas
as if to usher in the
expectant Birth
of the Christ Child.
The quiet of the night
is a celebration of
The Birth of the King of Kings
that happens on
Christmas morning!
