Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Animal Welfare League of Arlington

 WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!! WOOF!!!! BARK!! BARK!! WOOF!!!  WOW! A wonderful PLOTT HOUND available for adoption!  WOOF!! er, uh, 'xcuse me for the excitement-  this week, I got to meet a new friend from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington that is a Plott Hound.  Granted, she is mixed with another great breed, American Staffordshire Terrier, this is the first time in awhile I've gotten to share about a Plott Hound- like, you know I'm part Plott, right?  My human calls me "Sir Plottness" and for many good reasons, he says!

I would like you to meet an absolutely sweetheart of a gorgeous dog, her name is Hannah Banana and she is 11 months old and 1 day-

This lovely and refined and sweet and energetic and pawtastic and pawfect and pawsome young lady, Hannah Banana, is as silly and playful as her name would make you think.  She will melt your heart with her soft manner and sweet face!  What else from a Plott Hound mix, RUFF!!!!!!!

She gets along well with other dogs and could be a good fit if you are looking for a second dog as she's a regular at the shelter's dog playgroups!

Hannah is an adolescent pup with lots of energy, so she well pawfit from a regular routine of daily exercise, training and brain games- yes, brain games!  I learn new tricks all the time and do brain games to keep me active.  Part of the Plott side- makes life interesting!   Barkingly, keeping her busy will make a happy dog and a happy dog will make you happy!  WOOF!!

A pawsitive reinforcement training class is best so the two of you will get off on the right foot and paws together!  She will show off what a great student she is- you will be pawleased!    

Hannah Banana would pawsitively do best with a human who has previous big dog experience and a family with teen-aged children and older.
