Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

Barkingly, I was surprised this week by a pawfully funny visit with "Lab Lady" of Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.. All of a sudden, pairs and pairs and pairs of pawsome Labrador Retrievers looking for humans to love and their "Forever Home" came by to visit while twirling a human in the midst of their rush.  Too funny!  The dogs were having the time of their lives.... and "Lab Lady" seemed to have a great time of it all.

You know the old saying "Two are better than one?" It is pawsomely true with dogs. Why have just one if you can have two- especially when they are already buddies!?

Meet Harley and Cooper!

WOOF! Harley is a 3-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever and Cooper is a 3-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever looking for their "Forever Home" and humans to love. These are bonded buddies and must be adopted together! Barks! They will let you know when the other one is not around.

They guys are from a rural area and are not used to all the traffic, noise and groups of humans so they are looking for a "Forever Home" in a rural or suburban setting in a single-family home. A fence is required.

Harley and Cooper are friendly fellas and love being with their humans and, of course, being petted.

Who's in charge here? Not sure. They seem to take turns. WOOF!! BARK! Cooper is often the first to chase after a toy but Harley will bring it back. Harley is the first to come to get attention and be petted but Cooper will push his way in to be pet too! WOOF!

Harley and Cooper know their basic commands, "sit," "come" and sometimes "down"- barks! They pull on leash when walked together as they both want to take the lead. They do better an Easy Walk Harness.

The two have only been in crates at the vets and during transport but did really well. They might ve house trained as they kept their rooms at the kennel cleaned.

The two were shy when they first came to the rescue. Barkingly, it was to be expected as the only place they'd been was their home.

Harley and Cooper are looking for an active family who can give them love, attention, training, and exercise so they can "be all they can be!"

Harley and Cooper are recommended for mini-humans ages 10 and older. They are good with other dogs as they've hung out with other Lab Rescue dogs and had no problems.

See them at: Cooper and Harley! .

Harley and Cooper are up-to-date on vaccinations. Barkingly, they are Heartworm positive. Lab Rescue will provide Heartworm treatment, at no cost to the adopter, at one of our designated vets. The requirement to treat the dog at Lab Rescue’s vet is included in the contracts “Heartworm Treatment Addendum”. Adopters are encouraged speak with the Lab Rescue Heartworm Coordinator prior to adoption to learn more about the treatment process.

"Coal"

Bear is a 6-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever and Coal is a 4-year-old Black Labrador Retriever. The two are a bonded pair who will be adopted together.  They are looking for "Forever Homes" om a rural single-family home. A physical fence is required!

Bear and Coal are owner surrenders as their humans were moving. These fellas have lived outside in a pen all of their lives with little exposure to the world outside their pen or yard! WOOF!

Bear is a friendly guy who loves to give hugs.  He is a favorite among the volunteers!  He helps his younger "brother" Coal feel confident and secure.

Coal is a little shy and scared or timid around new things. He has more confidence when Bear is with him. WOOF!!

Bear and Coal are good with meeting other dogs. The guys were tested with a cat (who was in a crate) and seemed to be good with cats! The two enjoyed rode fine in their transport.

Bear and Coal are recommended for mini-humans ages 10 and older.

The two are up-to-date on their vaccinations!

Meet Carter and Cash! By these photos, this will be a story of which is which? Barkingly, doesn't matter as when you meet them, they will know- then so will you.  Meet the guys!

"Carter and Cash"(C) Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

Barkingly, "Lab Lady" breaks into a song.... I cover my ears but it doesn't help.... "Because you’re mine, I walk the line!” She asks if I remembered the musical hit by June and Johnny Cash? Who? I digress. Carter and Cash are singing their way to a new family and their "Forever Home!" WOOF!

Carter is a female 2-year-old Black Labrador Retriever while Cash is a male 2-year-old Black Labrador Retriever. The two are looking for a "Forever Home" in a rural or suburban single-family house! A physical fence is required.

Carter is the lady in charge! Cash is the submissive male!  The two are housetrained and have the run of the house since they are such good dogs!  They are accustomed to mid-day breaks with a dog walker!

Carter and Cash are approved for mini-humans of any age!  They are good with cats too!
